It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Snyderman, February 26, 2025 of Philadelphia, PA. Beloved husband of Deborah (née Zompa) Snyderman, beloved son of the late Rose (née Bernstein) Snyderman and Louis Snyderman, and beloved brother of the late Susan (née Snyderman) Goldstein. Steven also leaves his longtime friend and fellow magician Mr. Mel Babcock of Cashmere, Washington.
Steve's love for magic began when he was 8 years old, he worked for the famous Kanter’s Magic Shop in Philadelphia as a teenager and sold Penn (of Penn & Teller) his first magic trick.
Steve always had a love for animals (especially his beloved Peppe and Magic) and a love for music (especially The Beatles).
He then went on to earn his bachelor's degree in history from Temple University and then went on to earn his master's degree from Temple as well.
Steven worked for the Philadelphia School Department for 28 years before retiring.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend an 11:00 AM graveside service on Sunday March 2nd at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Trevose, PA.
