Susan Helene Tarshis

Susan Helene (nee Davidson) Tarshis, January 30, 2026 of Blue Bell, PA. Beloved wife of Dr. Lemuel Tarshis; cherished mother of Heidi Walker and Matthew Tarshis; loving sister of Sharon Jaffe and Mitchell Davidson. Proud grandmother of Max, Jacqueline, Shane and Ana.

Susan was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where she met her beloved husband, Lem, as a teenager. The two were married in 1962 and shared many happy years together, building a life rooted in love, family, and devotion. Throughout their marriage, they made homes across the country, living in Pittsburgh, Palo Alto, Schenectady, Cleveland, Trumbull, and eventually settling in suburban Philadelphia.

Above all else, Susan was most proud of her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life and brought her endless joy and purpose.

Relatives and friends are invited to services Monday, February 2, 2026 at 11:00am at Joseph Levine & Sons, 1002 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell, PA. Interment to follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.

Family and friends are welcome to observe Shiva at the Tarshis residence on Monday from 4:00pm-8:00pm, and again Tuesday evening 6:00pm-8:00pm. Contributions in Susan's memory can be made to Congregation Beth Or, www.bethor.org.
