Sylvia Goldberg

Sylvia Goldberg (nee Gordon) of Media, PA passed on November 22, 2025.

Sylvia was the beloved wife of the late Irvin Goldberg; loving mother of Ben Goldberg (Jan Kniskern) and Debbie Adler (Jeff); adoring grandmother of Rebecca (Andrew), Amanda (Daniel), Alexa (Charlie), Calder, and Zoe; doting great-grandmother of Oliver, Eva, Juliet, Claire, and Stella; treasured sister of Ronald Gordon. 

Sylvia was an active member of the Wesley Enhanced Living community and enjoyed the friendships she made there. Many will remember her from Nanette’s Children’s Shoppes, which she started and ran with her late husband Irvin for nearly 40 years in Media and Brookhaven. Sylvia lived for 102 wonderful years. Her smile, positive attitude, and love for her family was unwavering. She will always be our inspiration. 

Relatives and friends are invited to services Monday Nov. 24, 12:00 PM at Joseph Levine & Sons, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA. Interment to follow at Haym Salomon Memorial Park. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sylvia’s memory may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation (www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org) or a charity of the donor’s choice.
