William Frankl

William Stewart Frankl, MD, (Bill) 97, of Gladwyne, PA. Beloved husband of Razelle Frankl (nee Sherr); devoted father of the late Victor Steven Frankl and Brian Andrew Frankl (Rachel German), and grandfather of the late Miriam Frankl, Joseph Frankl (Leila Braun), and Aaron Frankl (Abigail Hartzell). 

Dedicated and compassionate cardiologist. Passionate teacher and researcher. Professor of Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Chief of Medicine and Cardiology at several Philadelphia medical schools. Active in county and state medical societies. In retirement, he reinvented himself as a science fiction novelist and short story writer.

He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends in the community. 

Relatives and friends are invited to services on Monday, August 18, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Joseph Levine and Sons, 1002 W. Skippack Pike, Blue Bell, PA. Internment following at Haym Salomon Memorial Park in Frazer, PA. For those unable to attend in person the service can be live streamed at (www.levinefuneral.com/blue-bell-webcam1.html).
