PHILADELPHIA — Vivian (Soble) Hoffman, a lifelong Philadelphian, died peacefully March 2, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in 1924, in Philadelphia to the late Naomi (Bohrer) Soble and Samuel Soble, Vivian was a graduate of Temple University. She married Dr. Leon Orsher in 1946. She worked for the Philadelphia Board of Education as the representative to Juvenile Court....
